Joy is best known for her "make-it-happen" attitude and her ability to connect big picture strategy with real world action.
She launched A 25 Hour Day, LLC in 2005, after spending more than a decade planning and managing key projects for government and nonprofit organizations.
Joy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois and a Master’s Degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign with a specialization in Policy, Planning and Administration.
She received both the Ronald W. Reagan Fellowship and the Michael Dunn Fellowship for excellence in academics, service, and leadership.
Today, Joy consults with small businesses and nonprofits on issues of planning and growth, while also directing the work of a virtual support team sprinkled across the U.S. to support her clients.
Her most recent published work, "The G.O.A.L. Program: How to Achieve What You Really Want This Year", is a self-study guide to help goal-seekers achieve their personal and professional best. The program is now being used by coaches and consultants globally to help their own clients achieve amazing goals.
Joy actively contributes to the advancement of causes she believes in, sitting on the Board of Directors for the Cochlear Implant Awareness Foundation (www.ciafonline.org), the National Association of Women Business Owners’ Central Illinois Chapter (www.nawbo-cil.org), and the Greater Peoria YWCA (www.ywcapeoria.org).
