"Anyone who waits to be struck with a good idea has
a long wait coming. If I have a deadline for a column or
television script, I sit down at the typewriter and
damn well decide to have an idea."
Andy Rooney
Today's Action
I discovered a fun resource a few weeks ago and I've played with it a couple of times since. It's an online "brainstorming" site - www.brainreactions.net .
(Nope, I'm not getting a financial kick-back from the site's owners... just sharing this resource because I thought it was a cool find and that you might find it helpful!)
You can post any question you want and get ideas generated from the website's visitors.
A few of the public brainstorming sessions that were in progress as I wrote this email...
+ Is there a way to make communicating within families faster,
easier, and more efficient?
+ Anyone know of a good audio cropping program?
+ Help me think of a good name for my business.
The recent emergency of social networking sites like this make it much easier to come up with creative ideas... simply throw out your question to the group and see what they come up with!
If you prefer to keep your creative brainstorming private, you can set up an account and invite up to 4 people to share their ideas with you for free.
You'll be able to see all the ideas your friends have generated, as well as their votes for the best ones.
So, next time you have a creative block, try inviting a few friends in to help you out!
